Skip a meal - What about vitamins?

Let’s face it- a lot of us don’t make the time to eat three square meals a day. We tend to assume that it’s okay if we skip a meal or two... what does it hurt? Well the truth is it does hurt, both physically and mentally. Your body needs the vitamins and minerals food supplies to survive. Without the proper diet to keep your biological needs satisfied, you are more susceptible to infection and disease- not to mention you aren’t giving your brain enough fuel to properly function.

Keep in mind that there are a wide variety of foods you can find for your essential vitamins, and most of them are affordable and convenient for an “on the go” lifestyle. A salad with dark green leaves can give you a healthy dose of vitamin A. If you grab an orange on your way to work you can give your body its vitamin C. Something as simple as a granola bar can provide you with Riboflavin - or your vitamin B. Eating junk food is a tough habit to break- but by eating smart you can very well change the way your body looks and feels.
